Azul Bahia (Blue of Bahia), is an exotic blue granite that comes from the coastal Brazilian state of Bahia. It is a scarce type of stone with a minimum yield of beautiful blue blocks from the quarry. The challenge with this stone is the unpredictable nature of its blocks. Some of them may look beautiful from the outside, only to surprise us with brown patches that appear on the slabs after cutting. In other words, selection inferiority can only be identified after the initial production. But with our decades of experience in this quarry, we are able to minimize this risk.
